Your new competitive edge
If you do any sport involving a lot of wrist strength, like armwrestling, MMA, BJJ, etc. then having strong wrist rotation strength will be of huge advantage to you. I don't think we need to explain anymore how important pronation is to armwrestlers (very important), but even for fighting sports like BJJ, MMA, and wrestling this is a very underrated aspect.
If you want to grab a hold of your opponent and pull him towards one side, a lot of strength needs to come from you wrist. If your wrists are much stronger than your opponents, you will have a great competitive edge here!

Never lose an armwrestling match again
If you're already doing armwrestling as a sport, we don't need to explain to you that pronation is VERY IMPORTANT. If you only do armwrestling with your friends at the bar, this may be good info for you.
In armwrestling, one of the main goals is to control the hand of the opponent. By being able to pronate your hand (as if you want to look on your watch), you will open up the hand op your opponent and get into a stronger position. Basically, if you have much stronger pronation muscles than your opponent it's almost a done deal already.
Just a few sets with Popeye's Pronator at the end of your workout can already make a big impact. Your friends won't understand how you suddenly got so strong, but you'll know the secret ;).
How & why it works
Some people are still not sure how Popeye's Pronator is different from something like a dumbbell, because it requires some understanding of exercise science. You see, with a regular dumbell/barbbell the resistance is only going one way: straight down. Both sides of the dumbbell are the same weight, so there's no resistance on the rotational muscles of the wrist.
With Popeye's Pronator, because the chain wraps around the circle, it actively tries to pull your wrist to one side. You are now able to use this resistance to train the rotational muscles in your wrist. You can chose to train the pronation (turning the thumb-side inwards) or supination (turning the pinky-side inwards) of your wrist.
Pro tip: if you want to take the biceps out of the movement and fully isolate the pronation or supination muscles. you can stabilize your forearm on something sturdy while doing the exercise. Now all the resistance is put onto your wrist, feel the burn!
how popeye's pronator will help you

Grow your forearms
The pronator teres and supinator actually
make up quite a decent portion of your
forearm size. It's what will give you that thick look around the elbow. And guess what: NOBODY trains them. Even simply adding in 3 sets at the end of your workout can result in some serious gains if you've never trained it before. Get ready to make some ´newbie gains´ all over again and grow some meaty
forearms

‘Bulletproof’ your wrist and elbows
Your wrist has 6 functions, 2 of which are
pronation and supination. When any of these 6 get out of balance due to a weakness, it´s typically only a matter of time before injuries happen. Proactively addressing weaknesses and making sure you´re strong through every link of a joint makes for a bulletproof forearm that's resilient against injuries

Get better at your sport
Having strong wrists through all of it's ranges of motion can be of huge advantage in many sports, including armwrestling, strongman, MMA, wrestling, etc. Especially because few people train it, this can become a new competitive edge over your competitors.
One of the most underrated ways to get big arms

If you´re a man and are reading this page, then I think it´s safe to say that you like the idea of having big arms! However, most people have been brainwashed by only focusing on the biceps and triceps. Now, don't get us wrong. Having big biceps and triceps is definitely cool. However, there is one big underrated factor that people overlook in growing their arms: the forearm.
The forearm has a lot of muscle potential and will give you that thick look around the elbows. Without well-developed forearms, you will never get that full look that most people are going for.
Don't believe us? Let's look at two examples here: one guy (LuiMarco) with very well developed upper arms but a skinny forearm, and one person (John Brzenk) with a very well developed forearm but a relatively lower developed upper arm. Honestly, which arm looks more impressive?
Another bonus about the forearm: they can be in full display year-round, while your biceps and tricep are covered up behind a layer of clothing. In summer, your forearms will be right below the line of your tshirt, and in winter you can simply roll up your sleeves. Get ready for some newbie gains all over again!
*WARNING: SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE EXTRA FEMALE ATTENTION
Hands and forearms consistenly make it to the top 5 most attractive male body parts, according to surveys on women. Thick, muscular hands and strong, veiny forearms are key indicators for masculinity, and women will of course pick up on this. Do with this information what you want ;).
a key ingredient to having ‘bulletproof’ elbows

It seems like there is an epidemic of elbow tendonitis, tennis elbow and golfers elbow these days. Many times, the reason is simple: there are muscular weaknesses and imbalances around the elbow joint that cause unnecessary friction on the tendons, resulting in pain.
If we look at the case of the forearm muscles, we see that they are 6 main functions: flexion, extension, pronation, supination, radial deviation and ulnar deviation. Wrist flexion is common, wrist extension is already quite rare. However, most people NEVER train the other 4 functions.
This usually results in some form of imbalance and lack of mobility. Instead, we want to get a joint to be strong in every angle and through every range of
motion.

FAQ
It's true that the deadlift does tax your grip, but as with all exerises like these, you're not maximizing your grip strength potential. At best you're simply making your grip strength sufficient to be able to handle your deadlift. At worst, you can still not get your grip strength up to this level (like most people) and it actually becomes your limiting factor.
Hands are made to strong, and there's so much more strength potential if you just include some specific grip strength exercises. Never drop a barbell again and grow some godly forearms at the same time!
