Your new competitive edge
If you do any sport that involves a lot of gripping, like strongman, climbing, BJJ, or just your average gym-bro routine, then having an insanely strong grip will be of huge advantage to you. It can really be your secret weapon, as grip strength is massively underrated and not many people train it directly.
Quite simply, if your grip is much stronger then your competitors, you will have a great competitive edge here!
*WARNING: SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE EXTRA FEMALE ATTENTION
Hands and forearms consistently make it to the top 5 most attractive male body parts, according to surveys on women. Thick, muscular hands and strong, veiny forearms are key indicators for masculinity, and women will of course pick up on this. Do with this information what you want ;).
Train anywhere, anytime.

One of the most underrated ways to get big arms
If you´re a man and are reading this page, then I think it´s safe to say that you like the idea of having big arms! However, most people have been brainwashed by only focusing on the biceps and triceps. Now, don't get us wrong. Having big biceps and triceps is definitely cool. However, there is one big underrated factor that people overlook in growing their arms: the forearm.
The forearm has a lot of muscle potential and will give you that thick look around the elbows. Without well-developed forearms, you will never get that full look that most people are going for.
Don't believe us? Let's look at two examples here: one guy (LuiMarco) with very well developed upper arms but a skinny forearm, and one person (John Brzenk) with a very well developed forearm but a relatively lower developed upper arm. Honestly, which arm looks more impressive?
Another bonus about the forearm: they can be in full display year-round, while your biceps and triceps are covered up behind a layer of clothing. In summer, your forearms will be right below the line of your tshirt, and in winter you can simply roll up your sleeves. Get ready for some newbie gains all over again!

*Grip strength loss alert*
In a 2016 study by ‘Journal of Hand Therapy’ it was found that the average male between 20-34 years old had about 20% less grip strength than in 1985. It's a worrying trend, since grip strength is one of the best indicators for vitality, longevity, and overall well-being. Luckily, you don't have to be part of this group. Take matters into your own hands (literally) and make hands strong again!

FAQ
Yes, but it depends on what you want of course! Hand grippers are a great way to increase forearm size and vascularity, develop your grip strength, and have great carry-over to other sports' performance, like strongman, wrestling, climbing, etc.
- Level 1 is perfect for beginners in grip training for high reps, or is to be used as a warm up. Almost anyone will be able to close this.
- Level 2 is to be used for medium reps for beginners, or for high reps for intermediates.
- Level 3 is a nice next step for beginners, which allows them to do some lower reps. For people who are already a bit stronger, it can be used nicely for high reps.
- Level 4 will already be a nice challenge for many fitness enthusiasts, making it very suitable for lower reps.
- Level 5 is suitable for real powerhouses. It is a great goal for many to work towards.
- Level 6. Is your name Eddie Hall, Thor Björnnson, Devon Larratt or are you someone else resembling a 300-pound hulk? Then this one is for you! This gripper is for the crème de la crème among mankind.
This depends a bit on your goals. If your goal is to gain forearm size, we recommend using higher reps, for example 3 sets of 10-15 reps twice a week. If you're looking to simply maximize grip strength, it's good to train lower reps as well. In this case you'd want to include sets with 1-5 reps. For example, do 1 workout per week where you're building up to your max gripper and focus on low reps. Than do another workout that week with high reps.
For the sake of hand health we also recommend training the opening of the hand, a.k.a. the extensors. These finger elastics are a perfect way to do this.
