In my opinion,it needs to be thicker to replicate arm wreslting better.Good side is that it holds a lot of weight which is good

Thanks for your feedback Jonathon! We actually purposefully decided to keep it on this thickness, since it would turn into more of a ring shape if we made it much thicker. Our recommendation would be to hold onto something else while using the judo belt if you want to replicate the shape of a real hand. For example, a hand egg trainer or something simple as your towel. Hope that helps!
